The Pōnui Armchair in Dark Leather is a mid-century style chair inspired by the Finn Juhl 45. Crafted from solid Ash, the Pōnui's beautiful curves are enhanced by the accented polished grain of the timber. Only the best leather has been used which has undergone rigorous testing in NZ to ensure maximum durability to your investment. The leather is a waxed black with a very dark blackish-brown appearance.

Through age and use, this leather will develop a warm sheen known as “patina”. This leather patinas quickly, giving it a beautifully unique finish - but always be aware that every hide is totally unique, and therefore will look different than the product photo.
